The Daily Commute

A collection of shots on London public transport, on my way to and from work. The London Underground or National Rail, where I spend at least two hours a day on a congested train going from one end of the line to the other, while people come and go. The same people sitting in the same parts of the carriage, everyday. The same routines; read the paper, listen to music, stare at the person across the aisle. The bus garage. A place where you feel a bond with your fellow commuters who are always there waiting for the same bus as you. A bond brought about from the constant delays and bus cancellations. Tired looks, fed up sighs and groans, empathetic glances at these strangers who feel like family. 5 days a week, 234 times a year.
